The Teep

The Teep, a push kick that can be used for both defense and attack. It is similar to the jab for keeping an opponent at bay. Three basic Teeps are with the ball of the foot, aiming for the stomach hip or thigh as a defense to throw an opponent off balance, the flat of the foot as a push on the chest or stomach, or the heel, a difficult kick requiring good flexibility and aiming for the solar plexus or chin.
